Vanocker Canyon Campground is located at the southern city limits of Sturgis, SD at 1214 Pineview Dr. Nestled in the foothills and bordering the beautiful Black Hills National Forest, our campground is family-owned and has operated at this prime location for almost 20 years, while the property itself is over 30 years old!

Vanocker Canyon Campground provides the perfect camping experience for you to unplug in the serene beauty of the Black Hills. Additionally we provide added convenience for our Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally™ tourists.
We’re on the southern edge of Sturgis city limits, which means you won’t have to fight traffic every morning for your drive the next day. We’ve got easy access to I-90, which means you spend less time waiting in traffic and more time enjoying the adventure. Vanocker Canyon Campground is the best Sturgis camping site to catch all of the beauty offered in and around the Black Hills while taking in all of the excitement during the summer season. One of the most exciting events we enjoy is the Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally™ in August!
For your convenience, we have a Shower and Restroom Building along with picnic tables, and portable toilets throughout the campground. We’ve also added the ability for you to wash and dry your laundry. Our Office Building carries ice, snacks, fresh coffee, drinks, and a schedule of Black Hills events for you to enjoy. We are only 1¼ mile from Downtown and Main Street Sturgis via Junction Ave. We're open ALL SUMMER from May 20th through September 20th, so whether you’re tent camping or planning on doing some camping with a trailer and an RV, we welcome you to a pleasant place to stay!
